eMedia Guitar Pro 6
The eMedia Guitar Pro 6 is an extremely powerful product with a very low price that should probably be set higher for the quality users will receive. Individuals who are familiar with Guitar Pro 4 have been nothing but satisfied with the product and have quickly been acquiring ownership of the eMedia Guitar Pro 6.
The eMedia Guitar Pro 6 has undergone an incredible service on its visuals which will amaze Guitar Pro’s previous users. Although it has went through major changes the application is still very easy to learn and should not take users more than 40 minutes to become comfortable with.
The services that have been performed on the eMedia Guitar Pro 6 have given the application a cleaner more distinguished look. Most of the features that were kept in Pro 5’s drop down menus are now accessible through Pro 6’s side tabs that fold out. To some this may seem to be an unnecessary change but to those individuals who appreciate a thoughtfully designed User Interface they will greatly welcome and enjoy this change.
Users of the GP5 are familiar with the “Realistic Sound Engine” feature that uses MIDI values to give music the feel of real instruments being played. The complaints users had in regards to this feature included the fact that before playback began the presence of a 15 to 20 second delay could be heard. The newly designed eMedia Guitar Pro 6 has this same feature minus any kind of delay, playback is immediate. Instead of only offering users the option to view one file at a time within the Guitar Pro, eMedia Guitar Pro 6 has retained the use of “Firefox”. This approach opens up new songs in the same window but under their own tab which allow users to switch back and forth between various songs.
The eMedia Guitar Pro 6 allows its users to choose the types of amps and effects that they want to use and their order. Users will unfortunately discover that the Pro 6 has a bit of a problem with importing a GP3 or a GP4 tab. The sound produced has an uncomfortable and unrealistic sound to it.
In the end eMedia Guitar Pro 6 is a very useful program to own with a price value well below its worth.
